This is our 2024 Auto-Trail Imala 736G: the family one. A 7.25m Hi-Line coachbuilt on the Fiat Ducato, finished in Artense Grey, it sleeps six across three doubles (an overcab bed, a rear double and a front double made up from the lounge) and seats four on belted travel seats. Under the rear bed is a large garage for bikes, kit or a bit of everything.

It comes from our own hire fleet: professionally fleet-managed and multi-point checked between hires, with full service history. That care is the answer to any question about mileage, which is around 18,000 to 22,000.

It is well equipped. The Media Pack brings an 8-inch touchscreen with built-in sat-nav and DAB, a colour reversing camera, steering-wheel controls and a 19.5-inch Avtex Smart TV. There's cab air-conditioning, a full kitchen with oven, grill and microwave, and a separate, fully enclosed shower room. For time off-grid it has a 200W solar panel and a DC-to-DC charger, with LED headlamps up front.

It's a manual, which keeps it keener on price than the equivalent automatic. The balance of Auto-Trail's 5-year conversion warranty and 5-year body-integrity warranty transfers to you (T&Cs apply).
