Atlas Motorhomes accepts most credit and debit cards, plus direct bank transfer. There are no card fees, and you choose how to pay: in full at booking, with a 5% discount, or in two payments with 25% at booking and 75% due eight weeks before you collect.
Two ways to pay for your hire
Pay in full at booking, save 5%
Settle the whole hire when you book and we knock 5% off the total. The discount is applied automatically at checkout, and the booking is confirmed in one go.
Split it across two payments
25% at booking, 75% eight weeks before your collection date. (Separate from this is the £2,000 security deposit held on a card on collection day.) The booking is held the moment the deposit clears, and the second balance doesn’t go anywhere until the eight-week mark. Useful if you’d rather not commit the full amount this far ahead, or you want to budget the trip across two pay-cheques.
We’ll email a reminder a few days before the balance is due, and you can pay it from your booking dashboard or by bank transfer.
If you book closer than eight weeks out, the full payment is due at booking. The split option only applies when there is more than eight weeks between booking and collection.

No card fees We absorb the cost of card processing on debit and credit. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
Cards we accept Visa, Mastercard, most major credit and debit cards, plus bank transfer. No American Express, no Maestro, no currency cash cards.
How to pay
Online by card
Pay on the booking page or from your dashboard. Card payments go through Stripe, our secure payment provider. Visa, Mastercard, debit and most other major cards are accepted, with no fee for using a debit or credit card.
Bank transfer
If you would rather pay by bank transfer, choose the pay by phone option at checkout. We’ll give you a call back, then we’ll email the account details with your booking confirmation.
By phone
Prefer to talk it through? Select the pay by phone option on the checkout. One of our team from our Glasgow depot will call you back and take payment over the phone.
What we don’t accept
- American Express. Card-issuer fees on Amex are too high to absorb without passing them on, and we choose not to.
- Maestro cards. Maestro is being phased out by most issuers and isn’t supported by our payment provider.
- Currency cash cards. Prepaid travel cards aren’t accepted, in line with the £2,000 security deposit policy on collection day.
