Quick answers

How old do drivers need to be?

Twenty-four to seventy-nine years old, with no driving convictions. Twenty-five to seventy-five with convictions. The Atlas team checks both at booking and again at collection.

When is Atlas open for hire?

Mid-March to the first week of November. We close out of season; vehicles get a thorough inspection and the team takes a breath. If you want a winter hire, we are not your operator.

Do you take pets?

Yes. The whole fleet is pet-friendly: there is no special pet vehicle to ask for. A single small cleaning fee applies per hire (not per night, not per day). Atlas does not supply dog kit, so bring your dog\’s own bed, bowls, blankets and towels.

Are the Camping & Caravanning Club and Caravan & Motorhome Club memberships included?

The Camping & Caravanning Club Privilege Membership is included with every hire (gives you 25% off Club sites). Caravan and Motorhome Club discounts are available separately at booking. Both pay for themselves on a long-weekend trip.

What is not included?

Awnings (we do not stock them), bedding (Comfort bundle includes it; otherwise paid extra), on-site parking at the depot during your hire (per-night fee), and one-way hire (we are collection-and-return at the Glasgow depot only). Provisional bookings are not offered: you book and pay deposit, or you do not.

Where is the Glasgow depot?

Anderston in Glasgow, ten minutes by taxi from Glasgow Airport (no direct rail link from the airport, despite what some maps suggest). On-site parking is available at a per-night fee for the duration of your hire. The Pick-up from our Glasgow depot page has full directions.
