The Glasgow depot
Where to find Atlas, how to get there from the trains and airports, when the depot is open.
Customers often ask us where to stay on the first or last night of a hire. Both of the campsites below are within thirty minutes of the Glasgow depot, both have hardstanding pitches with electric hookup, and both will take a motorhome on a single night if you call rather than book online.
Just off the M80 or M8, north-east of the city. The right call if you’re arriving from Edinburgh, the east of Scotland, or driving up from the south on the M74 or M73. Twenty-seven hardstanding pitches with electric hookup, suitable for any of the Atlas vehicles.

The south end of Loch Lomond, thirty minutes from the depot up the A82. The right call if you’re returning from the north or the west and want one quiet night before handing back the vehicle. Sets you up for a calm morning return rather than a motorway dash.

Most certified locations within forty-five minutes of Glasgow will take a motorhome on a single night for a small fee. Both Club memberships are included with every Atlas hire, which opens up most of them. The team is on the desk seven days a week if you want to talk through alternatives before you book the rest of the trip.
