Overview

Designed primarily for couples and families who want extra interior space, this Auto-Trail Expedition C71 4-berth motorhome with a fixed rear bed offers the comfort and room you’d normally expect from a much larger vehicle.  With fewer beds than a typical family motorhome, the layout prioritises living space — creating a relaxed, open feel that’s ideal for longer stays.

A permanently made-up fixed double bed at the rear means no nightly bed set-up, while a second double bed over the driver’s cab provides comfortable sleeping for up to four.  Inside, you’ll find a large washroom with a separate shower and a well-defined social and dining area, making this a very comfortable motorhome for quality holiday time together.

The specification is generous throughout and includes a TV with DVD, large fridge with freezer, gas hob, oven and grill, full-size shower, Bluetooth phone connectivity, and a fully stocked kitchen with utensils and tableware.  Four seatbelts are fitted, including ISOFIX, making it suitable for families with younger children.

Sleeping Configurations

The standout feature is the permanently made-up fixed rear double bed, positioned at a normal bed height and accessed from both sides. There are no ladders, no bed conversions, and no need to pack it away during the day.

A second double bed is located above the cab, allowing up to four people to sleep comfortably. This arrangement also allows the lounge and dinette to remain usable when the bed is in place.

Washroom Facilities

The separate washroom is positioned mid-vehicle opposite the kitchen and features:-

  • Separate shower: Dedicated shower cubicle with bi-fold door & wall-mounted shower head
  • Toilet: Bench-style cassette toilet
  • Basin: Vanity unit with large mirror and mixer tap

This layout offers more space and comfort than the compact wet rooms found in other (not Atlas) vehicles.

Living Space

The front lounge is formed by swivelling both cab seats to face the dinette, creating a bright and comfortable social and dining area.

With fewer beds than a typical family motorhome, the layout prioritises living space, giving the interior an open and relaxed feel.  A TV/DVD is included, and the seating area provides a comfortable space for dining, relaxing or planning the next part of your journey.
