Overview
Designed primarily for couples and families who want more interior living space, this 4-berth motorhome offers a highly versatile and comfortable layout. A key highlight is the presence of two separate lounge areas, making it particularly well suited to families or anyone who values extra social space while travelling.
The rear lounge provides a relaxed seating area during the day and converts easily into a double bed at night. At the front of the vehicle, a second double bed either drops down from the ceiling or is positioned above the cab, allowing the living areas to remain open and usable throughout the day. This clever use of space results in a light, spacious feel inside.
A large washroom with a separate shower cubicle, combined with the two generous social areas, makes this a very comfortable motorhome for spending quality holiday time on the road.
The specification includes a TV with DVD, a large fridge with freezer, gas hob, oven with grill, Bluetooth phone connectivity, and a fully equipped kitchen with all utensils and tableware provided. An optional bike rack is available, and built-in motorhome satellite navigation is provided. With four seatbelts, this vehicle has everything needed for a relaxed road trip.
Please note that images shown may be from more than one vehicle model; specifications and layouts are broadly the same.
Sleeping Configurations
The rear lounge converts into a double bed, providing a comfortable sleeping area at the back of the vehicle.
At the front, a second double bed either drops down from the ceiling or is positioned above the cab, allowing up to four people to sleep. This arrangement allows the lounge areas to remain usable during the day.
Washroom Facilities
The separate washroom is located mid-vehicle, opposite the kitchen and includes:-
- Shower: Separate shower cubicle with bi-fold door & wall-mounted shower head
- Toilet: Swivel cassette toilet
- Basin: Vanity basin with large mirror
The central washroom position means it’s easily accessible from both sleeping areas.
Living Space
This layout provides two separate lounge areas, offering flexibility for relaxing, dining, or socialising.
The rear lounge is suited to relaxing in the evenings, reading, or spending time together, while the front lounge provides a separate space for dining or unwinding.
The front lounge is formed by swivelling both cab seats to join the dinette, creating a sociable and flexible dining area. A removable table can be added as required.
Kitchen & Cooking
Central galley kitchen positioned between the two lounges is well suited to longer trips and includes:-
- Large fridge with separate freezer compartment
- Three-burner gas hob
- Gas oven and grill
All pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, glasses, and a kettle are supplied as standard, providing everything needed to prepare and enjoy meals comfortably.
Storage Space
Storage is provided throughout the vehicle, including internal cupboards and storage beneath the rear lounge, which can also be accessed externally.
This allows space for luggage, equipment, and everyday items while travelling.
Power & Off-Grid
As with all Atlas vehicles, the Auto-Trail F72 / C72 is suitable for short off-grid stays, with main onboard systems operating without electric hook-up (excluding high-draw appliances).
A solar panel is fitted to support onboard systems.
For short stays, you can comfortably use the main onboard services without electric hook-up, although electric hook-up is recommended for longer stays.
Driving Comfort & Performance
The Auto-Trail F72 / C72 can be driven on a standard car licence and measures approximately 7.3 metres in length, remaining well suited to touring Scotland and the rest of the UK.
Driving features include:-
- Colour reversing camera and/or rear parking sensors
- Motorhome-specific satellite navigation
